With the kids hitting the teenage years, after ten years raising three kids at sea, 2024 saw us move to a beautiful finca in the lush outskirts of Medellin, Colombia. We have been converting it into a permaculture paradise and retreat centre ever since. This, alas, does not leave much time for our beloved Moody 44 which is currently on the dry in Linton Bay on the Carribean side of Panama.

This very versatile Moody 44 has all the safety and comforts that a blue water cruiser could ask for and is located at the gate of one of our most favourite cruising grounds: The beautiful San Blas island archpelago, free from hurricanes, conveniently located between Panama (super easy access from anywhere in the world) and Colombia (an adventure in itself). In our hearts we cannot fathom letting her go, but in our heads we know she deserves more than waiting on the dry for the few months of holidays we could give her attention.
