Launch Day

Not much to say. A life-long dream. Decades of planing. Years of actually preparing. Today Happy Dancer hit the water. All went well and we are as happily dancing as one can possibly dance.

Just before launching we got her name stuck to the hall. Baptisme – champagne bottle pending – although we did take over the name from previous owners.

After a nomadic youth growing up around the globe and an unlikely latino wedding, this blog was conceived in Sydney, alongside with my second son. A few weeks later we quit everything that most would label 'valuable' to buy a boat and sail the Mediterranean Sea for three years. For ecstatic child birth #3 we went back home to Australia, explored community life and deepened our indigenous understanding, bushtucker knowhow plus permaculture ways... After several weeks in the magical red outback in early 2021 the winds of change called us back to sea. Ever since, we've been sailing the Caribbean on our Moody 44.
