Gozo is always a treat. If ever you get yourself lost in the Middle of the Med on this tiny island archipelago, which is Malta, then do yourself a favour and take the time for a detour to Gozo. So worth it! It’s super laid back. Stunningly beautiful. Invites for walks along wavy hills, raised statues, breath-taking coastlines and historic little towns. People are more chilled out. The pace of life is slower. It is more common to be greeted with a smile. Restored farmhouses are at its best. And Ta Frenc restaurant near Marsalform to the North – a Brangelina approved treat for the taste buts – is not cheap, but definitely the place to go for a culinary indulgence – almost the first time I use this term since arriving in Malta seven months ago!
